Royal Border Bridge, Berwick-Upon-Tweed with shafts of evening sunlight through mist (sea fret)

During the evening, I was walking near Spittal Beach when I noticed that the sea fret, which had covered Berwick all day, was begining to clear in places. I rushed back to the river path on the north side of the Tweed and waited near the Royal Border Bridge for at least an hour.

While sitting downriver from the bridge, I watched seagulls flying beneath it, swans on the water and a heron feeding. Then, the sun began to appear through the mist. Soon after, shafts of light broke through behind the bridge arches. An ethereal scene."


The edition size is restricted to 75. Each photographic print within the edition is signed, numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity. All are created using archival quality pigment inks and heavyweight archival paper for longevity.


Please note that, after March 2016, it will no longer be possible to purchase framed and mounted photographic prints by mail order.
